Cooper's 2nd Birthday

Cooper turned 2 today, we had a little celebration at home. Cooper thought the wrapping paper was better than the presents. We got a dump truck to go with our new house. Cooper has lots of room for a sand box in the back yard.

We asked Cooper a couple of weeks ago what he wanted for his birthday and I suggested a house and he said yes. No pressure on our realtor, we bought one with a day to spare. So we will be moving soon to Chanhassen.

Enjoy a couple of videos from our night. The second one is the best. Cooper was so excited when he got to pick out his cake at the grocery store. He asked about his "cake cake" the whole way home. We realized a few days later that it really did hurt when he put out the candle, he had blisters on his fingers. He wanted nothing to do with the cake until we removed the candles.

Our new daycare does an awesome job with art work, they gave us a book filled with all of his work from the summer. I love to see his latest creations.

at least once a night he stops to take a look at this picture. We showed him where Dad is sitting in the picture, so he points him out every time.

I finally figured out where all the glitter was coming from, our little firecracker was bringing it home from daycare.

We spent the weekend at the lake with friends. Cooper fell asleep before the fireworks. Jason and I were able to see a few from our window while Cooper was sound asleep.
